These things are only 18ga. so if your car is a racer, these will be just fine. But if your building or repairing a street cruiser that will see some weather and actual use, do yourself a huge favor and find something thicker, or make your own from 16ga. 1018CRS.
The stamping was not bad at all: it does have everything where it's supposed to be and it did fit well. If you want these to last, here's a tip: galvanize them! If that's too much for you, blast them with walnut shell (to prevent distortion) then cold-galvanize them on the inside with a spray on product before welding them on. If you live in the east, especially near the shore like I do, remember what Niel Young said: "Rust Never Sleeps"!
