1970 - 1974 Camaro Emergency Parking Brake Cable Tension Spring

New emergency parking brake tension spring for your Camaro. Exact fit for all 1970 - 1974 models. This spring is located on the driver side, measures about 11 inches in length. The 180 degree end hooks into your floor pan brace. The other end with the pigtail wraps around your front cable at the stop location. This spring provides tension in the system and allows the foot pedal to return to the open position. With out this spring the pedal will not return and the cable system will drag. This spring is a must for your emergency brake to operate properly. Fix yours today!

Looking all around the internet for info on why my parking brake would not return when released.   All of my car buddies had ideas but they were all wrong.  I fell across this on a search and it was just what the doctor ordered.  Wish I would have seen this before I bought another parking brake which will soon be on ebay.
