This part does more to clean up the front end of the new Camaro than anything else. The bow tie that Chevy puts on is just too big and clunky. This part is simple to install, just snapping into the factory grille in place of the bow tie. The bow tie does take some strength and finesse to remove, though. The bow tie has four tabs that hold it on. The instructions say to just pull and twist it off, but the best tip I can give is to pull down the two horizontal tabs on the back of the bow tie, while pulling it toward you. You then have to keep them pulled out of the grille while popping out the vertical tabs, and the bow tie will come off. It sounds complicated, but when you do it, it's pretty easy. The texture of the piece matches the factory grille perfectly, and when standing away from the car a little, looks seamless. I love the new look!
