1982 - 1989 Camaro, Z28, and IROC NK3 Leather Wrapped Sport Steering Wheel Center Spider Hub
New center hub, commonly referred to as "spider hub" for the leather wrapped NK3 style steering wheel (part # STE-416). This is in included on our new reproduction wheel but now offered separately to repair your original! This is found on many 1982-89 Camaro models. This spider gear is produced in steel, and is designed to attach the steering wheel assembly to the steering column. The "spider leg" design allows the steering wheel to collapse in the case of an accident. It is often the cause of "out-of-shape", bent, warped, or wobbly steering wheels.
Included with each hub, are (6) special, fine-thread, countersunk, Torx-head screws that are required to bolt the wheel to the hub.
Fits all 82, 83, 84, 85, 86, 87, 88, and 89 Camaro models.
