Starting with original GM dash pads, new tooling was created to mold original-style urethane into the correct shape with improved grain, sheen and construction, plus matching the weight and sturdiness of the original pad. Improved construction includes ABS-plastic with a steel reinforcement panel for the body and another reinforcement panel for the gauge area, This creates a more stronger pad than any other reproduction or OE-type pads available.
