The kit includes a Factory Reproduction GM 3858403 Stamped Bellhousing, Flywheel Inspection Cover, Clutch Fork with Ball Retaining Spring, Throwout Bearing, Clutch Fork Boot, and Clutch Fork Pivot Ball.
This Cast Aluminum Bellhousing is a reproduction of the original 3858403 bellhousing used on GM models with Big Block & Small Block engines equipped with a 10 1/2" clutch & 153 tooth flywheel. This performance aluminum bellhousing has the GM Part # 3858403 casting number stamped on the outside of the bellhousing just like the original. If you are doing a restoration of an early muscle car, or just want the original 403 bellhousing to finish that rod project, this bellhousing is the perfect part!

This style bellhousing was used with 4 speed transmissions in many GM models. It will work with any transmission with the front bearing measuring 4.675" and uses a 10 1/2" clutch. It will fit great in all of the additional applications shown above, as well as many different types of projects. This will make it a snap to get that 10 1/2" GM bellhousing in your muscle car or rod project. New Chevy high performance 10 1/2" style aluminum bellhousing was issued on Camaros, Chevelles, Impalas, Corvettes & Nova’s with big block 396, 427, also small blocks like 230, 250, 283, 302, 327, & 350 with the 153 tooth, 12 3/4" flywheels and 10 1/2" clutches. Will accept your original Muncie, Saginaw, & T-10 Manual Transmission with a 4.675" O.D. bearing retainer.
